I am still actively building an audience on social media, which is extremely difficult for me. We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience? I don’t give up easily and have the ability to look at the bigger picture, my future life. I am most proud of my ability to pivot in unpredictable and difficult times. I am truly passionate about what I do each day and get to develop long-lasting relationships because of the trust factor my business possesses. What sets us apart is our true love for others and care for their concerns. They also receive a relaxing environment at the same time. They trust me with what they are most insecure in and I take that and discreetly deliver results. My clients come to me with their skin concerns and I individualize treatment plans to what their skin needs. The main problem in my industry/specialty is skincare. It’s really opened by eyes to all I am capable of. I’m creating my own form of art with skincare and waxing, while creating make-up looks for different skin types, tones, and shapes. This transition with the spa has allowed me to tap into my creative side more than ever before. 2023 will focus on showing those every day luxuries, spa reviews, motherhood, food, and more. is still a growing brand, focusing on finding the luxury in your every day life.
I opened up my spa, which is phase one of my 10 year plan, specializing in skincare and offering body waxing and make-up. While going to school, the Posh Day Spa concept was born.
After 10+ years of longing to be in the beauty industry, I quit my corporate job, for a season, and went back to school to obtain my Esthetics license. I developed both businesses after years of disappointments and attempting to discover who I really was, and what my purpose is. My name is Ashley Newton, owner of Ashley Newton & Co., and Posh Day Spa. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. That would make me more proud than my own legacy. They need to be what is true to them and change the narratives that are present in their world. My legacy is mine, they don’t need to carry the torch. Finally, I would hope my legacy is centered in who my kids are and who they want to be, not who I want them to be. I aim to reclaim womanhood, not to societies standard, but embracing all of the parts it means to be me and making room to be just that in every aspect of my life. Secondly, I would hope my legacy is centered around pushing the limits, not shrinking yourself walking into any room with confidence, shaking the tables intentionally. Changing the narrative on finances, ownership, and family. First thing, me being a chain breaker, changing the trajectory of my family’s history. My legacy will be a collection of things. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for? We were lucky to catch up with Ashley Newton recently and have shared our conversation below.
